🌾 Loans
Do I need collateral to get a loan? +
Loans under TZS 2,000,000 require no collateral at all. For larger loans, we accept farmland or livestock as collateral — and our agents help you through the process.
How long does loan approval take? +
Most applications are approved within 24 hours. Funds are transferred via M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, or Airtel Money immediately after approval — no bank account needed.
What can I use an agricultural loan for? +
Seeds, fertilizer, labour, equipment, or livestock — any input cost tied to running your farm. Just describe the purpose on your application.
Can I apply for a second loan after repaying? +
Yes — and we reward loyalty. Farmers who repay on time qualify for larger loan limits and lower interest rates. Our returning customers get priority processing.
What happens if I can't repay on time? +
Contact our team as soon as you anticipate a problem. We work with farmers case-by-case on flexible repayment plans, especially in cases of proven crop loss covered by insurance.
🛡️ Crop & Livestock Insurance
How does crop insurance actually work? +
You pay a small annual premium. If your crops are damaged by drought, flooding, or pest outbreak, we assess the damage and pay compensation via mobile money within 7 business days.
Can I insure livestock as well as crops? +
Yes. Our livestock cover protects cattle, goats, and other herd animals against disease, theft, and death, in addition to standard crop insurance.
How much does crop insurance cost? +
Premiums start from as little as TZS 50,000 per year, depending on crop type, acreage, and region. Get an instant estimate on the application form.
How is a damage claim assessed? +
A field agent or our satellite/weather-data partners verify the reported damage against your registered plot, then compensation is calculated and paid automatically once approved.
📝 Applying
Can farmers from anywhere in Tanzania apply? +
Absolutely. We serve all 26 regions of Mainland Tanzania. All you need is a valid NIDA number, a working phone number, and basic details about your farm.
Can I apply for a loan and insurance together? +
Yes! Our "Loan + Insurance Bundle" is our most popular product, offered at a reduced combined price. Most farmers choose this option for maximum protection.
What documents do I need to apply? +
Just your NIDA number, an active mobile money number, and a short description of your farm (location, size, crop or livestock type). No paperwork to mail in.
Can someone apply on behalf of a family member? +
Yes, as long as the NIDA number and mobile money account used belong to the actual applicant, a family member can fill out the form for them.
